Since that time i lost my mum, and have had to help my youngest deal with some pretty shit meantal health problems and a change of school.

That is a very specific date Len and presumably a like changing one what happened?
I have two of my own: one fabulous, one absolutely terrible but both are before that.
As for those since 13th August 2020 is looking good as that looks like the one that I met my partner for the rest of my life. Still early days mind but it has been a revelation.

I have given up working for companies and now work for myself
My mother-in-law died - big loss for me
Daughter has been diagnosed with Epilepsy but she has fought through and now at her third year at Uni.
Eldest son has gone away to university
I'm becoming more of a recluse - probably not a good idea
Still love my wife and find her attractive after 27 years

Been to Australia 3 times.
